John is currently Assistant Professor of Professional Practice, Undergraduate Program Director (Newark), and Director of the Center for Supply Chain Management at Rutgers University.
John Impellizzeri tenured a 36-year career in industry where he established himself as a C-suite executive and developed a reputation as an innovative strategist, effective communicator, and dynamic leader with a strong commitment to excellence. Impellizzeri held CFO, CPO, and VP positions at Schindler Elevator, where he had a proven track record of coordinating complex business details, overseeing multiple functional areas simultaneously, and building consensus among decision-makers and stakeholders in defining strategic initiatives and driving results.
As a supply chain executive, Impellizzeri has considerable experience in the planning & development of transformative processes and technologies. These technologies introduce best practices to:
- optimize resource utilization,
- promote business growth,
- manage supplier relationships,
- deliver superior levels of efficiency and cost savings consistently.
