BlockApps, Inc. is looking for a Business Development Manager to focus on the Agricultural sector. This is not a job for shy, quiet types, but one for those who are bursting with self-confidence, love networking and enjoy presenting and public speaking. It also helps if you have:

  • Good business sense and an in-depth knowledge of industry needs and trends, locally and internationally, in the Agriculture sector
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Networking acumen and a proven ability to build rapport with C-level executives
  • A positive attitude
  • Stakeholder negotiation and management skills
  • Drive and ambition with plenty of initiative and self-motivation abilities
  • Creativity
  • Experience and ability to create consortiums with multiple enterprises within a given sector
  • Experience working to and exceeding targets
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development
  • Powerpoint, Excel and Salesforce experience
  • Blockchain and Cryptocurrency knowledge is a plus


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Increasing client base through introductions to C-Level representatives known to you in the Agriculture Industry
  • Knowing deficiencies within the industry being targeted and identifying corresponding use cases to target and pitch to correct the identified deficiencies
  • Developing growth strategies and plans
  • Utilizing your arsenal of in-depth knowledge of the target industries and value propositions to increase BlockApps’ client base
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Working towards sales targets and assigned quotas
  • Working close with product, marketing and engineering team
  • Attending meet-ups, conferences and exhibitions
  • Identifying potential opportunities for new business within other parts of the prospect’s and customer’s company
  • Managing customer accounts and responding swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquiries
  • Adjusting sales presentation based on success/fail averages
  • Working on and building sales proposals and presentation
  • Scheduling demos with Solution Architects and Sales Engineers
  • Managing executive relationships
  • Negotiating with stakeholders and writing business proposals
